On October 11, 2023, His Worship the Mayor Cllr Mfananaye Mathe of Jozini Local Municipality demonstrated a strong commitment to education and the community by inviting all principals from High Schools in Jozini offering Grade 12.
The purpose of this gathering was to distribute bulk groceries, to support Grade 12 learners who are currently participating in incubation/boots camps to prepare for the upcoming 2023 NSC Final Examinations.
During his speech, His Worship the Mayor Mathe highlighted the motivation behind this initiative and expressed gratitude to the Jozini Local Council for their support in making it possible. He encouraged principals to collaborate with ward councillors in addressing issues related to schools and social welfare, emphasizing the importance of a united effort to benefit the community and its learners.
This event exemplifies a caring approach from Jozini Local Municipality to respond to the challenges facing our educational system and by the community.
